5/5 · 52+ reviews
"I can't say enough great things about Spring St. Dentistry! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by Jackie at the front desk—she's so kind and welcoming, you instantly feel at ease. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The doctor, Hoang is truly the best around—caring, patient, and takes his time with you so you never feel rushed or overlooked. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Charlie and Janet, who assist the doctor, are absolutely wonderful. They make you feel so comfortable and reassured, like you're in great hands (because you are!). My husband used to be terrified of going to the dentist. Now? He won't even miss an appointment! That's how amazing this place is. If you're looking for a dental office that treats you like family and gives top-notch care, please come here! You won't regret it."
"I've been coming here my whole life, the only dentist for me, and NOT ONCE have I ever had a bad experience. Dr Hoang and all the doctors clean my teeth just perfect. I've also never had a cavity in my whole life thanks to these people and have perfect clean teeth since an infant til now at 22 years old. Charlie was so incredible, polished my teeth up perfect and these guys always make sure I'm comfortable and happy, and every time I leave thinking how lucky I am that this place has been the only dentist place I've gone to my whole life with such amazing staff and atmosphere"

Your Questions About Spring St. Dentistry, Answered
From booking your first visit to understanding your treatment options, here's what Long Beach patients ask Dr. Hoang most often.
How do I schedule an appointment with Dr. Hoang?
You can call Spring St. Dentistry directly at (562) 420-8578 to book an appointment at our Long Beach office. No referral is needed — we welcome new patients for general and cosmetic dental care. Our team will help you find a time that fits your schedule.
Do you see patients for dental emergencies or same-day concerns?
Yes, we do our best to accommodate urgent dental needs as quickly as possible. If you're experiencing tooth pain, a broken tooth, or another pressing issue, call us at (562) 420-8578 and let us know it's an emergency. Dr. Hoang and our team will work to get you seen promptly.
Does Spring St. Dentistry accept dental insurance?
We work with a variety of dental insurance plans and will help you understand your coverage before treatment begins. We recommend calling our office at (562) 420-8578 to confirm whether we accept your specific plan. For patients without insurance, we're happy to discuss payment options to make your care affordable.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first appointment typically includes a comprehensive exam with Dr. Hoang, a review of your dental and medical history, and X-rays if needed. This gives Dr. Hoang a full picture of your oral health so he can recommend the right treatment plan for you. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete any new-patient paperwork.
Am I a good candidate for clear aligners?
Clear aligners are a popular option for adults and teens looking to straighten their teeth without traditional metal braces. Dr. Hoang will evaluate your bite, spacing, and overall oral health to determine whether clear aligners are right for you. Most mild to moderate alignment issues can be addressed with this treatment.
What is a deep cleaning, and do I really need one?
A deep cleaning — also called scaling and root planing — goes below the gumline to remove built-up plaque and tartar that a routine cleaning can't reach. Dr. Hoang may recommend it if there are signs of gum disease, such as gum inflammation, bleeding, or bone loss detected on X-rays. Treating gum disease early helps protect your teeth and overall health long-term.
What's the difference between a dental crown and a dental bridge?
A crown is a cap placed over a single damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape, strength, and appearance. A bridge, on the other hand, replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring an artificial tooth to the natural teeth on either side of the gap. Dr. Hoang will recommend the best option based on your specific situation during your exam.
How do I take care of my teeth after a filling, bonding, or crown?
Most restorations — including fillings, dental bonding, and crowns — require no special aftercare beyond your normal brushing and flossing routine. You may experience mild sensitivity for a few days after treatment, which is completely normal. If discomfort persists or something feels off with your bite, contact our office so Dr. Hoang can take a look.
